  • The Central Lakes Association of REALTORS® is excited to announce its new name, marking a significant milestone. Formerly known as the Durham Region Association of REALTORS®, the association has undergone a transformation merging with neighbouring real estate associations to enhance services and data for its members.   This rebranding effort reflects the recent merger of the Durham Region Association of REALTORS® with the Quinte & District Association of REALTORS® and the Northumberland Hills Association of REALTORS®. By joining forces, these associations have created a new united entity that now covers a broader territory, providing members with access to more valuable data and tools. “To further the efforts of unifying data for members, the Board of Directors of the Peterborough and Kawarthas Association of REALTORS® (PKAR) and the Kawartha Lakes Real Estate Association of REALTORS® (KLREA) are both proposing a merger with the Central Lakes Association of REALTORS®. Members of PKAR will have the opportunity to vote on the proposed merger on August 9th, while members of KRLEA will vote on August 30th,” said Central Lakes Association of REALTORS® CEO Wendy Giroux.
