In the past 8 years, the Buckhorn Community Centre’s Golf Tournament has raised more than 100,000 to support their wonderful programming.  We’re proud to sponsor the golf tournament again this year on May 30th, 2024!  The BCC hosts a number of community events, programs, and activities throughout the year — from Blizzard Fest to Canada Day — making it a community hub, supporting Buckhorn and the area’s recreational and social needs.

We love being able to enjoy the projects we work on.  It wasn’t long ago that we were helping with the development of 100 Acre Brewery.  Wills worked closely with 100 Acre Brewery to develop a Site Plan and prepare a Site Grading Plan and Stormwater Management Brief in support of Site Plan Approval and Building Permit Applications. Now, they’re celebrating their one-year anniversary and have built a wonderful community! Our social committee recently hosted an Euchre tournament at 100 Acre Brewery for the Wills team.  Building and enjoying community is what we do.

We believe our work has an impact on our community. This is something we take very seriously. At D.M. Wills our definition of community is vast yet specific: Community is the place, the Towns and Cities, where our team member live and work; Community is the people that we impact daily through our teams’ work both inside and outside the office. Community is a commitment to our team members to foster an work environment where they can be their best and have maximum impact. Building communities goes beyond physical structures to involve the sense of belonging a community holds. Not just buildings, but places where people feel safe, comfortable, and at home. People’s “third spaces” — another place outside of home and work where they belong.  At Wills, we understand the importance of maintaining a positive and harmonious relationship with our community and we do our best day in and out to making a lasting positive impact on each community.
